Jindie Nails - Be Someone Cute

Jindie Nails – Be Someone Cute

I betcha thought I forgot about this!  While I’m not doing it EVERY Wednesday anymore if I have something that works I promise I’ll bring it to you!  Today I have an awesome polish (is there any other kind when we talk about this brand?  I mean really?) from Jindie Nails!  Today I have a fun and funky glitter bomb polish that is just so girly and ready for this Pink Wednesday!

Be Someone Cute:

Just look at all that glitter!  I’m dying here from glitter overload.  Ok, so not really dying that’s a bit of an overstatement.  But, I am totally loving every single little happy glittery part of it!  Be Someone Cute is a hot pink jelly packed with hot pink, black, and white matte tiny glitters.  You can wear it as a topcoat (it’s sheer enough) or you can do like I did and layer it up for full opacity!

I’m such a sucker for jelly glitter polishes.  This one is a dream to apply and use.  I didn’t have any problem getting the glitter to spread easily and the application itself was very smooth.  Small glitters like this can be a little topcoat hungry but honestly I didn’t find it to be a problem at all but I do use a thick topcoat that does a good job smoothing glitter on its own without a glitter smoother.  This is three thin coats plus topcoat.

Polishes used:  Butter London – Nail Foundation; Jindie Nails – Be Someone Cute; Digital Nails – Ain’t Nobody Got Time for That Topcoat.

You can find Jindie Nails here and on facebook and she is also on instagram!  You’ll definitely want to follow on Facebook so that you will know when restocks are happening as her polishes tend to go very fast.

Wednesdays We Wear Pink – Featuring Jindie Nails!

Nothing to Disclose

Hello again.  We’ve reached another Wednesday and although I know I missed last week I’m back with another fantastic pink polish!

One of my all time favorite brands is Jindie Nails.  I just love so many of Jen’s polishes and that’s probably why I have more Jindies than anything else in my “stash.”  Today I’m going to share one that is outside of the norm for me.  Usually I only share polishes that are easy for you, my dearest readers, to also obtain.   While this polish has not ever been for sale by Jindie Nails, I have seen it pop up on destash sales though so keep your eyes peeled because if you love pink polish you’ll want this one!  It’s just gorgeou…what are you tired of my rambling?  You know Patience is a Virtue:

Haha!  See what I did there?  I crack myself up!  Anyway this beauty was a gift for some very patient customers who bore the wait for shipping due to some unforeseen circumstances.  This in and of itself is one of the reasons that I love Jindie Nails.  Jen really tries to go above and beyond for her loyal customers because she genuinely appreciates their support!

Let me just say that usually I’m singing the praises of Jindie Nails’ crelly glitter polishes because honestly they are the first and still the best crelly glitters I’ve ever worn.  There are other great ones out there don’t misunderstand me, but I will always love Jindies just a touch more.   This one however is a gorgeous shimmery jelly base in a lovely hot pink.  Floating amongst the jelly is a plethora of pastel matte and metallic dots and hexes and some metallic microglitter or shimmer.

I love this polish.  It was a dream to apply actually.  It is a bit sheer if you have longer nails so you may need two and a half (as I did) to three coats.  I didn’t have to fish for the larger glitters and for the most part they did all disperse nicely (I nudged a few errant glitters back into position with the brush as I was applying).  Because of the larger glitters I DO recommend a glitter smoothing top coat for a glass smooth finish!

Products used:  Glisten & Glow – Stuck on Blu; Jindie Nails – Patience is a Virtue; Nail Pattern Boldness – Glitter Food; Digital Nails – Ain’t Nobody Got Time for That Topcoat.

So I know that you’re interested in where you can find out more about Jindie Nails and also maybe add some to your own “stash”  You can keep up to date on all the news and happenings on Jindie’s Facebook Page and see loads of pretty pictures on Instagram.  You can buy Jindie at many fine stockists around the world and of course from the Jindie Website (where she just happens to be running a summer sale with 20% off by using the code SUMMERSALE20 but only until the end of the month so move quickly)!

This is going to be a quickie Wednesdays We Wear Pink post!  I didn’t want to leave ya’ll wishing for a manicure revolving around one of the most awesome colors on the planet!  I also have some exciting stuff coming up in the next few days so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Alchemy Lacquers with China Glaze You Drive me Coconuts (Stamped with MoYou London Pro - 13)

Alchemy Lacquers – Sea Sparkle with China Glaze – You Drive me Coconuts

So here’s what I started with – a little mani with a jelly stampwich with China Glaze – You Drive me Coconuts and a double accent nail of the gorgeous Alchemy Lacquers – Sea Sparkle.   I used MoYou London Pro – 13 for the stamp.  So I looked at this and I though “Oh Yay!  I love this…let me add MORE!”

Here’s another shot of the finished mani!  I really liked the China Glaze for the jelly stampwich though I wish I had a more opaque white so that it showed through a bit better!

Oh my dearest readers I bet you thought that I forgot about you and Wednesdays We Wear Pink but no I assure you that I have not!  In fact I’m wearing pink right now in honor of our little tradition!  Today I’m going to bring you a review and swatches of some delectable Alchemy Lacquers polishes that feature our color of the day!

First up Sea Sparkle:

Alchemy Lacquers - Sea Sparkle

Now Sea Sparkle is part of the Bioluminescent/Neon Quartet!  This is a GORGEOUS neon blue shimmery crelly polish filled with matte neon pink hexes and dots in varying sizes along with satin white hexes, squares, and dots in varying sizes.  As if this wasn’t enough awesome for one polish there a blue microshimmer as well!

I mean how could I not fall in love with this?  Crelly based?  Check!  Bright summer colors?  Check!  Tons of glitter? CHECK!  Oh yes I love it for certain!  The formula is what I’ve come to expect from Alchemy Lacquers – awesome!  This picture shows three thin coats plus just topcoat (not a glitter smoothing toppie).  Even though it’s packed with glitter (required no fishing I actually had to scrape some glitter off) it still dried relatively smooth and only a topcoat was needed.

Products used:  Glisten & Glow – Stuck on Blu; Alchemy Lacquers – Sea Sparkle; Digital Nails – Ain’t Nobody Got Time for That Topcoat.

Next up is my Holy Grail of nail polish.  Honestly it’s like Rebecca crawled into my brain and picked out what I would want the most (shockingly not teal) in a nail polish.  This polish is upcoming and she says it will be released soonish!  I’m sorry to tease you with it but I can’t help it!

Alchemy Lacquers - Night Fire

Alchemy Lacquers – Night Fire

Oooo  Aaaah!  This polish is a stunner in every sense of the word!  This is a HOT pink jelly with a blue duochrome finish!  It gives it a sort of purple feel along the edges as the blue and the pink interact.  It has pink iridescent glitters and flakes buried within the gorgeous jelly polish!

Every single thing about this polish makes me happy including the amazing formula.  Easy to work with, opaque in three thin coats, and smooth and shiny even without topcoat though I did don one for these pictures.  Trust me as soon as she releases this one you need to be beating down the site to get you a bottle or four (back ups you know?)

Products used:  Glisten & Glow – Stuck on Blu; Alchemy Lacquers – Night Fire; Digital Nails – Ain’t Nobody Got Time for That Topcoat.

I think that these fit the PINK criteria quite nicely!  You can get your own Alchemy Lacquers in her Etsy shop, you can view all the news and sign up for the newsletter at the Alchemy Lacquers Website.  Be sure to follow on Facebook and Instagram for up to the minute breaking news and gorgeous pictures and sneak peaks of upcoming polishes!
